Organic Welsh Tea Seeds 2024

from £5.20

Seeds are currently available

Purchasing UK sourced seed in the autumn ensures good viability and germination.

If only for the odd cup of tea at home, or if you fancy trying your hand at larger scale production…seeds are a good way to go!

We have harvested our own seed for the past 5 years and have been really pleased with the plant stock from these.

They are showing very good productivity, good upright spreading growth and are proving to have both good drought and water logging tolerance.

There is quite a variation in the leaf shown by the seedlings but it is all of a smaller hybrid size and these seeds are all from Camellia sinensis var. Sinensis (NOT Assamica)

Seeds arrive in a jute gift bag with a slate plant tag.

We will include propagation information with any orders but also welcome any questions or queries on how to best grow, plant, establish, prune or harvest and process tea.
